YTKS has shut down

Due to a change in Youtube's policies regarding how third parties can access its data and how Youtube enforces those policies, YTKS is forced to shut down.

The website / service has been operating with limited functionality and reliability in its last week, while we have tried to find a way to be able to continue providing the service.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do so, so YTKS is shutting down effective immediately.

We have refunded the last payment of all paid subscribers, who had active subscriptions as of August 18, 20244.

We apologize for any inconvenience the shutdown may cause.

YTKS.app was a website that allowed its users to search through Youtube channels or playlists for words that are being said in the videos.

It did this by pulling auto-generated or user-generated subtitles from Youtube and caching them for its users to search through.
